Access Control & Intercom Installation
Access control and intercom systems have become so integral to our daily work lives that most of the buildings we enter use either system or both.
Access control can be integrated with an intercom circuit so they operate flawlessly, giving the visitor to the building a good experience that is so easy to use, it's like operating a basic security device.
If you have an existing locking system in place whether it is installed to a wooden door, steel door, glass door or aluminium door, we can integrate components whether access control, an intercom or both.
We have been installing access control and intercom systems for over 15 years. We also have an in-house electrician who installs the required 240v power points and makes any electrical adjustments necessary that will power the system that we install. Our electrician will also integrate the new access control and intercom with the current fire alarm system that is currently installed at your building, or we can install the new security equipment and leave a contractor of your choice to integrate it. We are very flexible.
We can also install electrical circuits that are totally independent of the access control and intercom that we are installing. It's no problem at all.
Over the years we have seen access control grow to such a technical level that some systems can be operated with smart phones and can be managed and used via touch screen interfaces and monitored off site by logging into the user control panel.
We are huge advocates of access control. When it it is installed correctly, it is a fantastic security addition to any building and offers many great facilities and benefits.
We can nominate an access control or intercom system for you or if there is a manufacturer and specification that you have in mind, we can install that, be it on a labour only contract or supply and installation basis.
The intercom and access control systems that we install are low voltage systems and vary between 12vdc and 24vdc.
We offer audio only systems as well as video and audio systems.
Smart locking systems & Intelligent lock installation
In addition to 12 volt and 24 volt access control systems, we also install smart locks, also known as intelligent locks. These kits are battery operated and be stand alone (individual offline devices), or network managed (several online devices within a building).
The difference being that the lever handle of the device has an integrated proximity reader which can operated by a smart phone, key card or fob, that been integrated and programmed onto the system.
The locking devices for the smart locks can be either a mortice latch, mortice sashlock or mortice fire escape lock case, which are all CE marked and certifier approved for use on internal fire resisting doors and fire escape doors.
In addition to the intelligent locking range (above), we fit smart cylinders which are installed to a standard mechanical locking device with similar benefits to the range above. These cylinders can be operated by smart phones, keys, key cards and fobs which have been programmed onto the system. Brilliant innovation that works well for your project.
